Know what to expect
A clear path.
A practical solution.
From the first question to an agreed scope: understand the information, decisions, and next steps that move a job forward.
Start where you are
You bring the problem.
We help define the work.
A failed cylinder, a worn part, a drawing, or an idea can start the conversation. You do not have to decide which trade or process will solve it before contacting Lenex.
- 01
Describe what you need
Tell us what is happening, what the equipment or part must do, and what result matters. When you call, be ready to discuss quantity, location, timing, and whether equipment is down.

Review the condition or requirements
Repair scope may depend on inspection. New work may need a drawing, material specification, dimensions, tolerances, or a review of the application. We identify missing information before treating assumptions as requirements.
- 03
Agree on scope and next steps
Confirm what is included, what needs further investigation, and which details affect price and timing. Inspection, design development, outside processing, and transport arrangements should be identified when they apply.
A request is not an accepted quote or a booked production slot. Written scope, approval, payment terms, and scheduling must be confirmed for the actual job.
- 04
Coordinate the right capabilities
Machining, fabrication, cylinder repair, controls, and field support can be considered together. Lenex’s vendor network adds sourcing and specialty-process options when a job needs more than one shop capability.
- 05
Confirm the handoff
Discuss applicable inspection or testing, installation needs, and collection or delivery arrangements. Any operating restrictions, follow-up work, and item-specific warranty terms need to be confirmed rather than assumed.
Start with what you know.
There is room to clarify the rest.
